Job description

As a Backend Developer, you will be a key part of our Backend Team, responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing the server-side logic and infrastructure that powers our applications and services. You’ll work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver robust, scalable backend systems that provide real value to both internal teams and external clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using C# .NET.
  • Implement specific features such as Single Sign-On (SSO) processes and webhook systems.
  • Develop and maintain scheduler processes for critical tasks, such as risk management in trading systems (e.g., Copy and Grid Trading).
  • Take ownership of the SSO and webhook systems, including ongoing improvements and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members (Frontend, and QA) on project planning, development, and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in the conceptualization and design of new projects, with a focus on researching complex processes.
  • Support the QA team by offering technical insights and assistance during testing phases.
  • Contribute to projects lasting 1–1.5 months, often with one Frontend and one other Backend Developer.
  • Monitor and maintain backend systems in the AWS cloud environment.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues, including those involving legacy code, log analysis, and debugging.
  • Participate in code reviews and monitor deployment progress.
  • Create clear and comprehensive technical documentation for APIs and non-API systems (e.g., SSO).
  • Use Git for version control and Jira for task tracking and project management.
  • Professional proficiency in English is a must, as this role involves working closely with external clients from outside Indonesia.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in C# .NET with solid backend development experience.
  • Familiarity with DynamoDB, ScyllaDB, and ElasticSearch.
  • Experience working with AWS services relevant to backend infrastructure.
  • Experience with Git and Jira.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate real-world requirements into technical solutions.
  • Good time management and task prioritization.
  • Proactive, dependable, and collaborative, with a willingness to learn and support the team.
