Job summary

Avanade in Jakarta is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design cloud solutions, support pre-sales, and guide hands-on delivery under senior architect guidance. This role requires strong Azure technical fundamentals, the ability to participate in client discussions, and active involvement in implementation projects.

You will work with Azure core services, IaC tooling, and governance controls to ensure secure, scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in infrastructure, cloud engineering or solution design roles.
• Hands-on with Azure core services (networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring).
• Experience with Terraform and IaC.
• Strong cloud architecture principles (availability, DR, scale, security).
• Experience in Pre-Sales & Delivery exposure; pre-sales or proposal support.
• Experience in project delivery or implementation teams.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales & Solution Architecture: support cloud design for proposals and client requests.
• Assist in solution documentation, diagrams, cost estimates, and technical clarifications.
• Participate in technical presentations and client workshops.
• Governance, Security & Operations: implement Azure governance controls (RBAC, Policy, tagging).
• Support monitoring, backup, and operational readiness.
• Documentation & Collaboration: produce architecture diagrams, HLD/LLD documents, and SOPs; collaborate with infra, DevOps, application, and security teams.

Key responsibilities

Pre-Sales & Solution Architecture Support cloud architecture design for proposals and client requests. Assist in solution documentation, diagrams, cost estimates, and technical clarifications.
