Job summary

SIGMATECH is the enterprise technology partner of choice for software development and IT services. We are seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer with strong English communication and hands-on Azure expertise to design, implement, and support cloud solutions.

You will work with Terraform, IaC, Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to provision and manage resources, deploy CI/CD pipelines, manage Windows Server environments, and operate Azure Virtual Desktop.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and IaC for Azure provisioning.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Windows Server administration and troubleshooting in Azure.
• Patching and lifecycle management of Windows VMs.
• Automation with PowerShell, Shell Scripting, and Python.
• Experience deploying Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Backup/DR, governance and cost management.
• Understanding of Azure Networking (VNets, NSGs, Routing, VPN, Private Endpoints).
• Incident management, RCA, production support; strong analytical skills.

Job description

Fluent English communication skills (both written and spoken) are mandatory

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture, and Azure best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Azure resource provisioning and management.
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
• Solid experience in Windows Server administration and troubleshooting within Azure environments.
• Proficient in Windows Virtual Machine (VM) patching, maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with automation using PowerShell, Shell Scripting, and preferably Python.
• Hands‑on experience deploying, configuring, and administering Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Strong understanding of Azure operational services, including:
  • Azure Monitor & Log Analytics
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery
  • Governance & Policy Management
  • Cost Optimization & Resource Management
• Good understanding of Azure Networking, including:
  • Virtual Networks (VNets)
  • Network Security Groups (NSGs)
  • Routing
  • VPN Gateway
  • Private Endpoints / Private Connectivity
• Experience in incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and production support.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively, and deliver high‑quality solutions with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in enterprise or banking environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, operational support, and cloud governance.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400) are an advantage.
