Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Administrator with hands‑on experience in DevOps practices and cloud-native development. The ideal candidate will manage and maintain our AWS infrastructure, implement DevOps pipelines, and support application development teams by building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

AWS Administration

  • Configure, manage, and monitor AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Route 53, Lambda, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.

  • Manage and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.

  • Ensure proper security, backup, and recovery procedures are in place for AWS environments.

  • Monitor system health, performance, and costs using AWS native tools and third‑party monitoring solutions.

  • Manage resource tagging and enforce cost optimization strategies.

DevOps Engineering

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, or GitHub Actions.

  • Automate software builds, testing, deployments, and monitoring.

  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration between development and operations.

  • Maintain version control and repository management using Git or other versioning systems.

  • Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS).

Cloud Development Support

  • Assist development teams in building and deploying cloud‑native applications using AWS SDKs, Lambda, API Gateway, and serverless architectures.

  • Collaborate in designing and optimizing APIs, microservices, and serverless functions.

  • Support developers with environment provisioning, deployment strategies, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps roles with automation and CI/CD practices.

  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform).

  • Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Amazon EKS).

  • Experience in monitoring/logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Datadog.

  • Deep understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, Firewalls, Load Balancers) in AWS.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies and cross‑functional collaboration.

  • Knowledge of security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, HIPAA, GDPR).

  • Familiarity with serverless frameworks and modern cloud app development patterns.
