Job summary

Asia Select is seeking an Automation Technician in Indonesia to join their team in Gresik, East Java. The role focuses on hands-on PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining automation systems used in mining and oil & gas operations.

Qualified candidates will manage Siemens or Allen Bradley PLCs, work with industrial communication protocols, and support SCADA and DCS infrastructure. Knowledge of P&ID interpretation is essential for effective maintenance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with automation systems in mining/oil & gas sectors.
• Proficiency in reading PLC diagrams and wiring schedules.
• Familiarity with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Understanding of Modbus, Profinet, Profibus and SCADA.
• Ability to diagnose and repair automation equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and commission automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC and field devices during operations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation systems.
• Interface with control networks and SCADA for monitoring.
