Job description

• Lead and support negotiations for a wide variety of commercial contracts with both internal and external clients and suppliers.

This includes regional and global engagement arrangements, confidentiality agreements, referrals, teaming, sub-contracting arrangements, and tenders.

• Support the legal and risk teams by advising on, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating vanilla, novel, and complex commercial matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of legal policies, guidelines, and templates.
• Stay updated on legal developments that affect or potentially affect the company's businesses and continue to develop best practices tailored to the company's business needs.

Education and Experience Information:

• A recognized law degree from an established university, qualified in Indonesia and/or a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience gained in a reputable law firm and/or a good in-house legal team, preferably with a focus on contracts and broad commercial work.
• Prior experience in professional services or IT industries is desirable.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, including proficiency in reviewing and drafting legal documents in both languages, is mandatory.
• A good understanding of risk management and commercial practices.
• Ability to engage confidently and effectively with different people across various seniorities, expertise, roles, and cultures.
