Job summary

Digital Edge Data Center in Indonesia seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to supervise site activities and deliver critical infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with MEP teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

The role reports to the Head of Projects and requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering along with strong AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project skills. Based in Cikarang, Indonesia.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in civil and structural engineering with site supervision.
• Preferably with data centre or critical infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil and structural works including foundations, slabs, steel structures, and equipment support systems.
• Validate method statements, shop drawings and ITPs.
• Support testing and commissioning and integrated system tests.
• Prepare weekly quality reports and follow NCR closeouts.
• Coordinate with MEP, design consultants, and contractors to resolve issues.
• Maintain QA/QC records and ensure compliance with standards.

What we need:

Reporting to the Head of Projects, this role will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all civil and structural works throughout the project lifecycle ensuring quality, compliance with design specifications, structural requirements, and critical infrastructure standards. This role demands precision, adherence to safety standards, maintaining tight timelines, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver a mission-critical facility. This role will be based in Cikarang.

Key responsibilities:

• Site Supervision & Execution:
  • Oversee the civil and structural works including foundations, slabs, steel structures, and equipment support systems.
  • Ensure alignment with Digital Edge's design specifications.
  • Validate method statements, shop drawings and ITPs.
  • Support the testing and commissioning as well as integrated system tests process.
  • Ensure that planned construction activities are carried out promptly in accordance with the project's program.
• Quality Assurance & Quality Control:
  • Verify compliance with the relevant local building codes, international standards, and project specifications.
  • Witness and conduct inspections on civil and structural works ensuring structural integrity and tolerance levels etc are as per design intent.
• Work closely with the project team, especially the MEP team to coordinate the MEP work.
• Liaise with design consultants and contractors to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, material certifications, and QA/QC documentation.
  • Prepare weekly quality reports, and follow up on a timely manner to close out NCRs etc.
  • Prepare progress reports and highlight risks impacting critical path activities.
• Actively champion and implement the organization's policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate:

• Experience: 5-10 years in civil and structural engineering with site supervision (preferably with Data Centre or critical infrastructure projects).
• Specific people skills: Good communicator, with site supervision experience, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Education level: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.

Systems and Tools: Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and other relevant software
