Assistant Production Planning & Inventory Control Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Production Planning & Inventory Control Manager to join our dynamic team at SKK Jewels in East Jakarta, Jakarta. In this role, you will support the Production Planning & Inventory Control Manager in overseeing the end-to-end manufacturing process, including production planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee production schedules, manage inventory levels, and ensure the efficient flow of materials to meet production targets and customer demand.
• Analyze material needs, coordinate with supply chain and sales departments, control costs, and solve production issues to maintain efficiency and meet deadlines.
• Monitor and control inventory levels to meet production and sales needs while minimizing costs.
• Identify and resolve production issues, including delays and quality problems, to keep operations running smoothly.
• Anticipate potential risks in the production process and develop solutions to prevent them.

What we're looking for

• 3-5 years of experience in a production planning, inventory control, or supply chain management role within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Experience with production planning and inventory management software, such as ERP systems, can be beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
