Assistant Manager HR Operations (Data Specialist, Payroll & Benefit)
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Assistant Manager of HR Operations (Data Specialist, Payroll & Benefit) to join our team at PT Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our company's payroll, benefits, and data operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee and manage the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of salaries and benefits to all employees. End to end payroll including taxation report to Coretax.
- Coordinate and maintain employee data, including personal information, leave records, and other HR-related data. Operate HRIS system; Workday, HR Portal.
- Collaborate with the HR team to administer and manage employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to enhance the overall employee experience.
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports and analytics to support decision‑making and strategic planning.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure compliance within the organization.
What We're Looking For
- Willing to be relocated and work at Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera.
- Fluent in English verbally and written.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR operations or data specialist role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficient in payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee data management. Experienced handling employee queries, Workday, attendance system and Coretax.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Thorough understanding of labor laws and regulations applicable to the industry.
- Proficient in using HR software and technology, including HRIS and payroll systems.
