Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year experience in housekeeping or related area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manages Housekeeping Operations and Budgets and ensures OSHA regulations are up to date.
• Oversees lost and found procedures and prepares room-cleaning assignments from lists of rooms and check-outs.
• Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies and communicates guest room status to Front Desk.
• Works with Engineering on maintenance needs and enforces loss prevention policies.
• Ensures proper supplies, equipment and uniforms for all employees and conducts inspections.
• Manages linen inventory and assists in ordering supplies; supervises in the absence of senior management.
• Observes service behaviors and provides feedback to improve guest satisfaction.
