Job summary

The successful candidate will support the Chief Engineering in operations, ensuring high standards and safety compliance throughout the property. Candidates should have a minimum of a D3 or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar leadership role within hospitality or large property.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and inspire a diverse team.
• Proficiency in computer applications and engineering systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Engineering in daily operations as Department Head in their absence.
• Lead and motivate the engineering team by setting high performance standards.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs focusing on safety and compliance.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control by managing supplies and expenses.
