Job summary

A leading palm oil company in Penajam is seeking an Assistant Accounting to produce financial statements and assist with budgeting. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting and 2-3 years of relevant experience, with strong skills in financial reporting and data analysis. Good English communication is essential. The role is based on-site in Sepaku, Kab. Penajam in East Kalimantan.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a related position, experience in the Palm Oil industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Producing financial statements and attending to other accounting tasks.
• Liaise with other departments to obtain timely data for transaction preparation.
• Preparation of annual budget work sheet on time.
• Review the General Ledger and identify deviations/trends against budget.
• Ensure timely management of petty cash float at locations.

Job Descriptions

• Producing financial statements and attending to other accounting tasks.
• Liaise with other departments to obtain data in time for the preparation of transaction batches and informing them to the Management Accountant when required.
• Preparation of annual budget work sheet as per the agreed guidelines / parameters on a timely basis.
• Review the General Ledger and TB of the Estate and identify deviation / trends as well as comparing against the budget.
• Ensure petty cash float at the locations are adequately managed and recorded on a timely basis.
