Job summary

Caterpillar invites applications for an Assembly & Test Technician based in Batam, Indonesia. You will handle assembly and testing of wellhead equipment and X-tree components, following company policies and safety standards, with a shift rotation in Batam.

The role requires D3/SMK technical education, hands-on measurement/tool skills, and strong teamwork. Domestic relocation is not available; a 6-month contract is indicated, with on-site work in Batam.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma D3 Teknik or SMA/Kejuruan with at least 2 years in Manufacturing.
• Compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Able to use measuring tools such as Vernier caliper and pressure gauge.
• Knowledge of torque tools and hand tools.
• Understanding of traceability concepts.
• Good communication and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Basic mathematics including tolerances and conversions.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials.
• Prepare and operate hand tools, torque tools (hydraulic and pneumatic).
• Assemble and test (hydrostatic and gas tests).
• Use overhead crane to lift heavy materials.
• Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness (5S).
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness of assembly and testing.

Sebagai seorang Assembly & Test Technician di SPM Oil & Gas, Anda akan memiliki kesempatan untuk menangani dan melaksanakan pekerjaan perakitan dan pengujian seperti wellhead, X tree serta peralatannya untuk digunakan dalam industri perminyakan dan gas dengan mematuhi kebijakan, prosedur, norma, serta arahan Perusahaan sesuai dokumen terkait dan dokumen pendukungnya.

Informasi Tambahan: Shift: Rotasi Shift Lokasi Kerja: Batam, Kepulauan Riau Jenis Pekerjaan: 6 Bulan Kontrak Anda akan bekerja di area produksi. Relokasi domestik tidak tersedia untuk posisi ini.

Sebagai seorang Assembly & Test Technician Anda akan:

• Melakukan verifikasi material.
• Mempersiapkan dan mengoperasikan Hand tool, Torque tool (baik Hydraulic maupun Pneumatic tool).
• Melakukan perakitan dan pengujian (Hydrostatic test / Gas test).
• Menggunakan Over Head Crane dalam pengangkatan material berat.
• Menjaga peralatan dan area kerja agar tetap bersih dan rapi (Housekeeping / 5S).
• Berpartisipasi dalam perbaikan berkelanjutan yang berkontribusi terhadap efisiensi dan keekonomisan proses perakitan dan pengujian.

Kandidat yang berhasil harus memiliki:

• Minimal lulusan D3 Teknik atau Sekolah Menengah Atas/Kejuruan dengan minimal 2 tahun pengalaman di Manufacturing
• Kepatuhan terhadap semua peraturan, standard, prosedur, kebijakan Perusahaan dan pemerintah tentang Kesehatan, Keselamatan dan lingkungan kerja.
• Memiliki Pemahaman dalam membaca gambar Teknik.
• Mampu menggunakan dan membaca alat ukur seperti Vernier Kaliper, Pressure Gauge, dll.
• Memiliki pengetahuan tentang Torque tool, hand tool.
• Mengerti tentang konsep traceability.
• Dapat berkomunikasi dengan baik serta mampu bekerja secara efektif dalam lingkungan tim.
• Memiliki kemampuan dasar Matematika seperti toleransi, konversi, dll.
• Memiliki kemampuan dasar Microsoft office.
