Job summary

Palm Oil Plantation Company in Kalimantan Tengah seeks an Asisten Kepala (ASKEP) Mill to support the Mill Manager in controlling all PKS operations at a 45 Ton TBS/Hour capacity.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: D3/S1 in a relevant engineering field.
• 3–5 years PKS experience, prior Asisten Mill or similar role preferred.
• Experience handling PKS with 45 Ton TBS/Hour capacity or more is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Mill Manager in controlling PKS operations and 45 Ton/Hour capacity.
• Ensure processing targets, yield, OER, KER and CPO/Kernel quality.
• Monitor oil losses and kernel losses to meet standards.
• Maintain machine readiness and smooth production flow.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance implementation.
• Control Mill costs and ensure efficient resource use.
• Enforce K3, SOP, 5R/5S and housekeeping practices.
• Supervise Mill personnel performance and productivity.
• Coordinate with Estate on TBS availability and quality.
• Prepare production reports and address issues with Mill Manager.

Job description

Asisten Kepala (ASKEP) Mill is a leadership position supporting the Mill Manager in controlling all operational activities of a palm oil processing plant (PKS) with a capacity of 45 Ton TBS/Hour. The role involves ensuring achievement of processing capacity targets, yield, OER, KER and CPO/Kernel quality, while managing operational costs and maintaining equipment readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Mill Manager in controlling all operational activities of PKS with 45 Ton/Hour capacity
• Ensure achievement of processing capacity targets, yield, OER, KER and CPO/Kernel quality
• Control oil losses and kernel losses to meet company standards
• Ensure machine readiness and smooth production process flow
• Oversee implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance
• Control Mill operational cost usage effectively and efficiently
• Ensure implementation of K3, SOP, 5R/5S and housekeeping
• Conduct supervision and evaluation of all Mill personnel performance
• Coordinate with Estate regarding TBS availability and quality
• Prepare production reports, losses, maintenance and operational issues to Mill Manager

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Palm Oil Processing Technology, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in PKS with experience as Asisten Mill or equivalent position
• Preferred experience handling PKS with capacity of 45 Ton TBS/Hour or more
• Understand entire process of converting TBS into CPO and Kernel
• Master control of OER, KER, oil losses, kernel losses and CPO quality
• Understand PKS main equipment operations and troubleshooting
• Understand preventive and corrective maintenance systems
• Understand K3 and PKS operational SOP implementation
• Possess leadership capability and able to manage Mill operational team
• Able to work with production targets and cost efficiency
