Artificial Lift Application Engineer

As an Application Engineer for SLB's Artificial Lift business, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and supporting Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) systems tailored to diverse well conditions across Indonesia. You will collaborate with clients, field teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure reliable and efficient artificial lift solutions that maximize production and minimize downtime.

This person provides real‑time support to Product & Service Delivery as required and is responsible for the cost‑of‑service delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design ESP systems using SLB's proprietary software tools based on well data, production history, and reservoir characteristics.
  • Recommend optimal pump configurations, motor sizing, and control systems to meet client production targets.
  • Provide on‑site and remote support during ESP installation, commissioning, and operation.
  • Diagnose and resolve ESP performance issues using real‑time monitoring tools and historical data.
  • Serve as the technical focal point for ESP‑related inquiries and proposals.
  • Prepare and present technical documentation, performance reports, and recommendations to clients.
  • Ensure all ESP operations comply with SLB's HSE standards and client‑specific safety protocols.

  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
