A leading FMCG firm is seeking a Sales Manager responsible for driving sales growth in the Jakarta area. Key responsibilities include developing sales strategies, managing distributor performance, and leading a sales team to achieve targets. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of sales management experience in consumer goods, strong leadership skills, and a track record of successful market execution.
Responsible for managing and developing the company’s sales performance within the Jakarta area, ensuring target achievement, market expansion, and strong trade execution. This role focuses on driving sales growth through effective distributor management, team leadership, and local market strategy implementation.
Sales Strategy & Target Achievement
Develop and execute sales plans to achieve volume, distribution, and revenue targets in the Jakarta area.
Identify market opportunities and ensure effective trade coverage.
Monitor and evaluate sales performance to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Manage and evaluate distributor and sub-distributor performance to ensure operational efficiency.
Coordinate stock, pricing, and product availability to support sales execution.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key trade partners and retailers.
Lead and supervise the area sales team to meet performance targets.
Conduct regular coaching, field visits, and performance reviews.
Develop team capabilities and ensure high levels of motivation and discipline.
Market Execution & Expansion
Ensure effective implementation of trade marketing and promotional programs.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.
Provide market insights and recommendations for strategic decision‑making.
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts for management.
Collaborate closely with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams for smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales management within the FMCG or consumer goods industry.
Proven experience managing distributors or key accounts in Jakarta or Jabodetabek area.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Willing to travel and work in a fast‑paced environment.
Deep understanding of modern and general trade dynamics in Jakarta.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, or sales reporting software.
Strong execution focus, result‑oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision.
High integrity, initiative, and adaptability to change.
