Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any major with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in area sales/commercial, especially in OTC/Pharmaceutical industry and/or FMCG. Strong experience in managing distributor branches and sales force teams. Result‑driven with the ability to identify problems and devise solutions. Able to build and lead a team. Dynamic and agile personality. Proven interpersonal and negotiation skills. Ability to communicate in written and spoken English & Bahasa. Willing to be placed anywhere or relocate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets/performance by optimal utilization of resources and investments, and drive market development, distribution, and product penetration in assigned areas.
  • Build, develop, and strengthen distribution infrastructure; define clear sales targets in both value and volume, monitor performance, and determine sales‑force headcount requirements for each distributor branch.
  • Expand distribution width and coverage by entering new geographies and new channel or customer opportunities within dedicated areas.
  • Build strong partnerships with potential customers and key stakeholders in the area, maintaining collaboration with outlets (Medical/Drug stores, PBF/Wholesalers, Midwives/IBI, Local Key Accounts, and Provision/General Trade Stores).
  • Maintain close monitoring and relationships with distributors and their manpower, ensuring full quality control.
  • Own and drive key sales initiatives from the region and head office, ensuring trade or consumer programs are shared and implemented correctly in each distributor branch.
  • Manage all direct reports (DKT Sales Field Force) and distributor sales‑force teams by setting sales targets for each field team, reviewing and monitoring performance, and conducting the Fix Journey Plan (FJP) to improve coverage and enhance team capabilities, including product knowledge, presentation, and role‑play with key customers.
  • Ensure stock adequacy for monthly promotions, maintain service‑level performance to customers, and support new product launches through accurate sales forecasting.
  • Conduct regular mentoring and coaching for the area sales team through joint visits, ensuring team understanding and gathering market insights from customers and shoppers.
  • Ensure that all field sales team members and distributors comply with the company’s sales systems and processes and adhere to ethical business practices.
