Job description

Drive sales growth for the company’s portfolio of welding and cutting solutions while strengthening our reputation as a trusted partner for professional customers in Singapore & Batam.

Serve as the primary technical and commercial point of contact for customers in Batam.

Leverage deep technical expertise in welding and materials alongside strong sales acumen to deliver value-added solutions.

Assess customer needs and provide expert recommendations on welding applications and material selection.

Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets and expand market share

Maintain accurate and timely weekly sales forecasts to support effective business planning.

Ensure achievement of assigned sales targets and KPIs.

Uphold compliance with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and business partners.

Provide expert technical consultation and support on welding processes, materials, and applications.

Develop and deliver impactful technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to customers.

Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are fully met.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to strategic sales planning and market growth.

Prepare and submit accurate weekly sales forecasts to management, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

International Welding Engineer (IWE) certification or master’s degree in Materials or Welding Engineering.

Strong knowledge of welding processes, metallurgy, and material science.

Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Resourceful, results-drive, and adept at generating and closing sales opportunities.

Willingness to continuously develop influencing and negotiation capabilities and learn new skills.

Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Collaborative team player.

Willingness to travel as required within Singapore and Batam.
