Job description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Applications QA Engineer 3 (Salesforce) in EMEA.

In this role, you will lead quality assurance efforts across a broad range of enterprise applications, ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-performing systems. You will be responsible for both manual and automated testing, driving best practices while mentoring junior team members. The position involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams, active participation in design and analysis reviews, and ownership of large end‑to‑end QA initiatives. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks and automation architecture, while ensuring clear communication across teams. This role requires autonomy, technical leadership, and a strong commitment to operational excellence.

Accountabilities
  • Lead QA activities across major projects, ensuring robust manual and automated test coverage.
  • Organize and oversee regression testing, manage reporting, and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Drive innovation in testing practices and support proof‑of‑concept work for new automation technologies.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers, providing coaching and supporting their development.
  • Conduct and participate in bug reviews, metric evaluations, and technical design discussions.
  • Coordinate testing efforts with internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams across IT and business units.
  • Contribute to automation framework architecture, review peer submissions, and ensure continuous process improvement.
  • Provide occasional out‑of‑hours support for incident handling when required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application QA/testing, including at least 2 years in QA leadership.
  • Strong expertise in manual and automated testing, with experience in enterprise‑level functional testing.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium or Provar and a strong drive to deepen automation skills.
  • Ability to design, plan, and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
  • Strong communication, accountability, and cross‑team collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to drive results, support team goals, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Willingness to work an EMEA shift (4 PM – 1 AM).
  • Nice to have: Salesforce experience, familiarity with CI/CD environments (Bamboo, Jira, Git, Atlassian), hands‑on experience with automation frameworks, and exposure to performance testing or monitoring.
