Application Engineer

PT. Unisat Nusantara, a local Indonesian company focusing on Oil & Gas, is hiring an ESP Application Engineer for its Riau office. The role is full‑time, on‑site and involves artificial lift design, electrical & mechanical engineering, technical support and ALS performance review.

Responsibilities

• Design ESP systems using proprietary software tools based on well data, production history and reservoir characteristics.
• Recommend optimal pump configurations, motor sizing and control systems to meet client production targets.
• Provide on‑site and remote support during ESP installation, commissioning and operation.
• Diagnose and resolve ESP performance issues using real‑time monitoring tools and historical data.
• Serve as the technical focal point for ESP‑related inquiries and proposals.
• Prepare and present technical documentation, performance reports and recommendations to clients.
• Ensure all ESP operations comply with HSE standards and client‑specific safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in design, installation and troubleshooting of ESP or other artificial lift technology.
