Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to the Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process by collaborating with Service Delivery Coordinators and Sales to align with client objectives and contract terms.
- Perform offset job analysis and engineering modeling to identify hazards, then design job programs with risk mitigation and contingency plans.
- Work with all stakeholders to validate application requirements and ensure proposed solutions meet technical and commercial goals.
- Provide on-demand support during job execution, document all calculations and changes, and compare planned vs. actual outcomes to capture lessons learned.
- Lead end-to-end incident investigations, determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution with all parties.
- Offer technical support to sales teams and recommend suitable technical solutions to meet client needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- Minimum 3 years experience in drilling/drill bits within the oil and gas industry.
- Excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, influencing & planning skills, and communication & presentation skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage, develop, coach, and mentor teams across organizational boundaries.
- Ability to work independently, be on call outside normal business hours, and work in a global matrix organization.
- Be able to travel (potential for travel to rig sites, customer facilities, meetings, training, etc.).

Job Description
Design, optimize, and support Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) systems tailored to diverse well conditions across Indonesia. Collaborate with clients, field teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure reliable and efficient artificial lift solutions that maximize production and minimize downtime. Provide real‑time support to Product & Service Delivery and handle cost‑of‑service delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design ESP systems using SLB’s proprietary software tools based on well data, production history, and reservoir characteristics.
- Recommend optimal pump configurations, motor sizing, and control systems to meet client production targets.
- Provide on‑site and remote support during ESP installation, commissioning, and operation.
- Diagnose and resolve ESP performance issues using real‑time monitoring tools and historical data.
- Serve as the technical focal point for ESP‑related inquiries and proposals.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, performance reports, and recommendations to clients.
- Ensure all ESP operations comply with SLB’s HSE standards and client‑specific safety protocols.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in design, installation, and troubleshooting of ESP or other ALS technology.
- Knowledge of ESP design and analysis through ALS design software and troubleshooting.
- Training as an ALS Application Engineer (course).
