Job summary

Permata Bank is seeking a Data Governance professional to establish and enforce data policy frameworks across the organization. You will ensure data quality, access, and compliance with data protection regulations while collaborating with multiple business units.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science and has hands-on experience in IT governance, risk management, and AI/Gen AI projects within banking or financial services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information System, Computer Science, or related field.
3 years of experience in Data Governance, IT Governance, Compliance, or Risk Management, with AI/ML/Gen AI projects.
Strong understanding of relationship between business process, architecture, control, risk , compliance and data technology.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills are crucial for collaborating with various business stakeholders
Familiar with modern enterprise data platforms and governance tools; banking/financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Establish and enforce data policy frameworks and standards to ensure data quality, consistency, and security across the organization.
Ensure each business unit has access to valid and trusted data, establish clear data ownership, and mitigate legal risks through compliance with data protection regulations.
