Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking aContract Technical Writer/Editor to evaluate and improve AI-generated content. The role focuses on clear feedback, scoring, and actionable recommendations to enhance model outputs.

You will work remotely from anywhere in the US, Canada, or UK, collaborating with project managers and reviewers to ensure high-quality editorial results. Strong English writing, editing, and critical analysis skills are essential, with experience in technical content a plus.

Qualifications

• Native-level English fluency with strong written communication.
• Experience in technical writing, editing, content evaluation, or a related field.
• Clear understanding of clarity, tone, structure, and instructional content.
• Familiarity with digital content review, annotation, or evaluation platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate remotely.
• Experience with AI systems or model evaluation is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and compare AI-generated responses against writing prompts.
• Assess clarity, tone, accuracy, coherence, and usefulness.
• Provide clear scores, rationales, and actionable feedback.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and instructional value of outputs.
• Apply editorial judgment to distinguish writing quality differences.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing findings.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project managers and reviewers.
• Apply advanced written English and critical analysis skills throughout the process.
