Administrator & Payroll Specialist (BATAM)

Job summary: The role is responsible for supervising comprehensive data and payroll processing, overseeing all transactional and administrative services related to personnel data, benefits, and talent administration, including mass updates.

Your role:

  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
  • Addresses potential process improvement solutions where applicable.
  • Ensures that enquiries escalated by the Contact Center are answered and transactional activities are processed in a timely, professional and efficient manner.
  • Use own knowledge and skills to ‘mentor’ other members of the team to a high standard.
  • The position reports hierarchically and functionally to the Team manager.
  • Performs complex HR Master Data changes in line with compliance, data privacy and service levels requirements.
  • Process changes in employee status, cost center changes, pay, etc.
  • Approve, reject, re-submit or elevate transactions based on policies and guidelines.
  • Perform regular checks on changes in systems; monitor and identify points of departure and execute necessary corrections.
  • Respond to external/internal requests for information.
  • Support delivery of reports within scope, file employee‑related documentation; maintain employee files and records & manage and record document flows.
  • Responsible for payroll closing reports & audit reports.

  • A bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of working experience in payroll & data processing.
  • Has good knowledge and understanding of HR processes and policies.
  • Able to answer queries on own initiative by effective use and interpretation of relevant data available information.
  • Able to work as part of a team or on own initiative & Able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, multi‑task is essential.
  • Computer literacy & experienced with Case Management tools and HR IT systems.

Willing to work on site - Batam.
