Job Description

• Actuarial / Asset Liability Management Specialist, responsible for the regular valuation reporting for ALM reports and compliance (such as ALM reports, liquidity reports, FX reports, etc) including analyzing and managing financial risks on each key ALM metrics.
• Analyze insurance risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide actuarial insights for decision‑making.
• Deep knowledge of actuarial valuation (reported under IFRS 4 and IFRS 17), conduct in‑depth product reviews and provide solutions to mitigate insurance and financial risks embedded within products.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Actuarial Software (AXIS preferred), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access
• Basic programming language skills
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities
• In‑depth understanding of actuarial reserve methodologies (both IFRS 4 and IFRS 17) and relevant solvency capital requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in actuarial industry / fields
• Progress towards or completion of professional actuarial qualifications (ASAI preferred)

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular asset‑liability analyses & risk metric optimization; monitor product & market to assess and manage financial risks.
• Prepare ALM risk metrics reporting such as ALM report, liquidity report, FX report, etc.
• Prepare ALM Committee (ALCO) meeting, Investment Driver of Earning (DOE), and Market Sensitivity report and present them to senior management.
• Contribute to new product reviews to ensure the product risk remains within company appetite.
• Collaborate with related departments—actuarial, investment, finance, accounting—to develop effective ALM strategies.
