Financial Transactions and Record Keeping
- Process and record accounts payable and receivable related to coal or nickel trading.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and company ledgers.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Analyze cost structures and profitability of coal or nickel trading transactions.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Compliance and Taxation
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations specific to the coal or nickel industry.
- Prepare tax reports and assist in audits related to coal or nickel trading activities.
- Work closely with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
Maritime or Shipping Cost Accounting
- Track and allocate vessel-related expenses (e.g., fuel, port, charges, repairs, crew costs).
- Reconcile voyage and operational costs to budgeted figures and report on variances.
Mining Trading Accounting
- Monitor and account for coal or nickel inventory, purchases, and sales.
- Track costs, freight charges, royalties, and other coal or nickel-related expenses.
- Ensure accurate pricing and invoicing for coal or nickel shipments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from recognized University.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting, with at least 2 years in the Maritime/Mining industry.
- Familiarity with taxation, customs duties, and financial regulations related to Maritime/Mining trading.
- Fluent in English language, Mandarin is a plus.
