We’re looking for an Accountant (Account Payable) to join our Finance team based in Batam, Indonesia to ensure that all the accounting information and practices are accurately reflected by gathering and verifying the accuracy of financial data, checking journal entries, and reconciling accounts with its relevant cost and revenue.

You will report directly to our Country Finance Lead.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded in General Ledger, and accurate in a timely manner
  • Apply double-entry accounting principles to maintain accurate and balanced records for each transaction
  • Prepare supporting documentation and calculation of journal vouchers to have a clear nature of transactions and easy tracking to the actual transactions
  • Manage payment process and expenditure cycle as well as its related internal controls
  • Control Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Financial Statements as required by Indonesian GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Initiate improvements to the business process and internal controls
  • Assist External Auditor for Financial Statement audit

Who We Are Looking For

  • Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable processes.
  • Knowledge of the full set Accounts Closing and able to prepare core financial reports
  • Good analytical skills, systematic and well-organized with a keen attention to details
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills to create a collaborative environment
