Job summary

Business Hub Asia is seeking an Accounting and Tax Specialist to join the External Finance Department in Jakarta. You will manage client bookkeeping, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance with Indonesian standards, delivering accurate, audit-ready documentation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, fluent English, strong knowledge of Indonesian tax rules, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset to support fast-growing, cross-border projects.

• Strong grasp of Indonesian tax regulations, compliance, and standard accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and manage clients’ bookkeeping, financial statements, and monthly/annual tax reporting in line with Indonesian regulations.
• Calculate, file, and reconcile tax obligations (PPh, PPN, and other applicable taxes) accurately and on time.
• Monitor regulatory updates from Indonesian tax and accounting authorities, translating changes into practical guidance for clients.
• Liaise with clients to clarify requirements and explain accounting/tax matters clearly.

Key Responsibilities

Client Accounting & Tax Support

• Prepare, review, and manage clients’ bookkeeping, financial statements, and monthly/annual tax reporting in line with Indonesian regulations.
• Calculate, file, and reconcile tax obligations (PPh, PPN, and other applicable taxes) accurately and on time.
• Monitor regulatory updates from Indonesian tax and accounting authorities, and translate changes into practical guidance for clients.

Client & Cross-Team Coordination

• Liaise directly with clients (local and international) to gather documentation, clarify requirements, and explain accounting/tax matters in clear, accessible terms.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all deliverables meet internal quality standards and applicable Indonesian accounting/tax compliance requirements.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation and records for every client engagement.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Language: Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential, as you will be working in a dynamic, global environment.
