Role
To support our growth, we are looking for an experienced finance manager with an audit background to oversee our financial operations and provide strategic financial guidance to the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and audit, and will be able to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders. The candidate will report directly to the Head of Finance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls that are in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly and annual financial statements, to senior management and other stakeholders
- Oversee financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable and cash management
- Coordinate with external tax consultants to prepare and review accurate tax reporting to Indonesian tax authorities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure that all financial reporting deadlines are met
- Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors
- Develop and implement internal audit programs, including risk assessment and audit planning.
- Support Legal function with tax and financial compliance matters
- Assisting our Legal and Business Development functions in advising possible tax risks for transactions
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor staff in the finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective communication with external auditors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.
- Other responsibilities as may be required from time to time
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CMA is preferred.
- Strong accounting foundation and knowledge, preferably with 6 to 7 years of experience in financial management, accounting, and audit
- Experience in a public accounting firm, preferably a Big 4 firm and working in a regulated financial service business
- Experience with financial software and systems, including Microsoft Excel, Xero, and ERP systems
- Strong domain knowledge on credit, specifically small business lending is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading and building cohesive, high performing teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Bahasa Indonesia and English
