Job summary

The Accountant Associate at Hach Malaysia Sdn Bhd will support day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, and timely monthly closure in Indonesia. The role collaborates with Sales, Service, Customer Support, Supply Chain and Tax to ensure compliant and efficient processes.

Based in Jakarta, you will handle journal entries, VAT/PPN, and withholding taxes, while maintaining master data and internal control standards within a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and accounting practices.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, or similar) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions in the ERP system.
• Account for month-end journal entries for accruals and closing adjustments.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly and maintain evidence of reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end and year-end reporting activities.
• Support Indonesian tax filings and compliance.
