Accountant and Tax Specialist (Generalist)

Location

Bali (office-based) Company type: Local PT (Trade / Export-Import) Salary: IDR 6,000,000 – 10,000,000 (depending on experience)

About

We are a growing trading company in Bali specializing in export-import operations. We are looking for a versatile and detail-oriented accountant to fully manage the company's financial operations. You will be responsible for bookkeeping, tax reporting, payroll, and supporting our international trading activities.

Main responsibilities
  • Full cycle accounting: Maintaining daily financial transactions and bookkeeping.
  • Taxes: Preparation and submission of monthly and annual tax reports (PPh 21, 23, 25, 4(2) and PPN/VAT via the Coretax system).
  • Foreign exchange operations: Management of international payments, reconciliation of bank accounts, and handling of foreign currency transactions.
  • Foreign economic activity: Control of financial documentation related to imports and exports.
  • Salaries and personnel: Calculation of monthly salaries and contributions to the BPJS social security system.
  • Software: Implementation and management of the accounting system (Jurnal/Accurate).
  • Reporting: Providing regular financial reports (balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow statement) directly to management.
Candidate requirements
  • Preferably a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position (experience in trade or logistics is an advantage).
  • Brevet A & B certificate (tax qualification) is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Jurnal or Accurate.
  • In-depth understanding of Indonesian tax legislation and export-import regulations.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) for direct communication with colleagues.
  • Proactive, honest, and able to work independently in a startup environment.
