Job summary

A leading fiber optics company in Jakarta Utara is seeking an experienced financial professional to manage Oracle accounting and general ledger functions. The ideal candidate will hold at least a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of financial experience, including at least 4 years in general ledger accounting. Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or above (Master's degree preferred).
  • Fluent in English (Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese preferred).
  • Minimum 6 years of financial work experience, including at least 4 years in general ledger accounting (combined with experience in taxation preferred; experience in a Big Four accounting firm preferred).
  • Familiarity with the Oracle system is preferred.
  • Possession of Brevet A & B certificates.
  • Strong learning ability and ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the company's Oracle account processing, including checking system-pushed Oracle automatic postings, manual journal entry and verification, accrual journal entry, etc.
  • Responsible for the company's general ledger month-end closing, closing accounting periods on time.
  • Responsible for reviewing the company's expense reimbursements, collecting reimbursement forms and checking consistency between online and offline submissions.
  • Responsible for the issuance of the company's annual audit report.
  • Coordinate with AR/AP/TAX teams to complete account processing in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for reconciling tax records in the Oracle system with monthly tax filing records to ensure consistency.
  • Responsible for checking the accuracy of withholding tax calculations in reimbursements and payments.
  • Cooperate with tax audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Responsible for guiding and training other members of the General Ledger team.
  • Responsible for training business staff on reimbursement-related processes and policies.
  • Responsible for reviewing the work of other general ledger staff and ensuring timely month-end closing.
  • Responsible for conducting performance appraisal management for team members in the General Ledger group.
