Account Manager (Chem, Petrochem, and Oil & Gas)

Responsibilities
- Plan sales volumes and potential of customers group.
- Analyze and evaluate markets and needs of potential or existing customers.
- Prepare customer contacts, build and maintain a customer‑focused network to develop both customer and industry/vertical market expertise systematically.
- Investigate and evaluate specific business opportunities for products/solutions by analyzing mid‑term investments of customers in this industry/vertical market.
- Support customers directly in cost/benefits analyses and calculations to demonstrate specific advantages of using Siemens products.
- Prepare and negotiate projects and proposals in cooperation with other involved professionals and management.
- Coordinate the realization of assignments, and contribute to the set up of respective product developments, projects or service programs for the customer.
- May act as a point of contact in commercial matters.
- Complete sales and revenue related key reporting.
- Contribute to the development of an After Sales Service that is focused on customers' needs.
Qualifications
- Completed technical education with a focus on electrical engineering, physics, industrial engineering (Master’s degree is an added value).
- In‑depth knowledge of the process industry sectors, especially for chemical, petrochemical and oil and gas.
- Good knowledge of the Siemens Digital Industries portfolio.
- Good Microsoft 365 skills (Word, Excel, Teams…) as well as knowledge of CRM systems.
- Experience in account management of large industrial customers.
- Experience in identifying, acquiring and handling projects in the process industry.
