An educational organization in Jakarta Utara is seeking a full-time Academic Coordinator (Progress Advisor) to enhance student retention and academic progress. This on-site role involves communication with parents and teachers, along with responsibilities for academic counseling and operational coordination. Interested candidates should hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree and possess strong communication skills, with a preference for those with experience in educational sales.
The Academic Coordinator (Progress Advisor) is a full-time, on-site position at the Pondok Indah campus. This role combines academic coordination and customer relationship management to ensure that every student receives a meaningful, results-driven, and enjoyable learning experience. The Academic Coordinator acts as a bridge between teachers, parents, and students, ensuring clear communication, accurate academic progress reporting, and strong retention through consistent follow-ups and engagement. Additionally, the role supports the promotion of POLY’s programs by contributing to student retention, re-enrollment, and course extension efforts.
Monitor and record each student’s academic performance through tests, reports, and teacher feedback.
Conduct data-based follow-ups to track learning progress and identify areas for improvement.
Provide academic counseling to students and parents to help improve English performance.
Support teachers by preparing classes, assisting during lessons, and ensuring academic readiness.
Participate in classroom observations and communicate findings to the Academic Engagement Manager.
Serve as the main point of contact between parents and the academic team.
Communicate student progress, attendance, and class updates regularly and professionally.
Arrange and participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and academic consultations.
Handle inquiries, concerns, and feedback with empathy and solution-oriented communication.
Build strong, trusting relationships with families to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Promote course renewals and re-enrollments by presenting the value of continued study at POLY.
Follow up on existing students and prospects to meet retention and sales targets.
Collaborate with the Academic Director and Front Office to manage leads and course extensions.
Communicate tuition updates, payment reminders, and support with discount or voucher coordination.
Maintain accurate student data, academic records, and system updates.
Coordinate with finance and administrative teams for special payment arrangements.
Prepare academic documents such as progress reports, teacher forms, and classroom readiness checks.
Ensure academic procedures and standard operating policies are executed consistently.
Reports directly to the Academic Director.
Collaborates closely with teachers, the front office, and the academic team for student retention and data accuracy.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Communication, or related field preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents, teachers, and students.
Organized, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service mindset and results-oriented approach.
5 years of experience in academic counseling, progress advising, or educational sales.
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 10:00–18:00 (1-hour break included)
Saturday: 07:00–16:00 (1-hour break included)
1 weekday off and Sundays off, unless otherwise required by the Academic Department.

Salary: Rp 5,500,000 per month
