Job summary

Viridien, a technology and Earth data company, is seeking a geophysicist or physicist to join our team in Indonesia. You will help develop signal processing, physics-based modelling and imaging to produce high‑resolution subsurface seismic images for clients in energy and resources.

The role involves managing complex technical projects, delivering on deadlines, and communicating results to clients. No prior geophysics knowledge is required as we provide comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Integrated or postgraduate Masters or PhD in Physics, Mathematics, All Engineering, Geophysics, Astrophysics/Astronomy, Earth Sciences and Natural Sciences with a Physics specialization.
• Exceptional performance at BSc level will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Build high‑resolution subsurface seismic images and models using signal processing, modelling and imaging.
• Develop expertise and manage long‑term client relationships through service excellence.
• Lead complex technical projects with multiple deadlines and effective client communication.
