Job summary

Redscale Pte Ltd is seeking a 2D Artist to design clean, readable icons and UI elements for our game. You will craft the visual building blocks players interact with daily, including menus, buttons, HUD pieces, and inventory icons.

Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure the UI fits the game style and flow. A strong portfolio of icon/UI work and pixel art experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of icon and UI work, ideally for games.
• Strong eye for composition, color, readability and hierarchy.
• Ability to keep assets within a defined art style and consistent.
• Experience designing game UI is a plus.
• Light animation or motion experience for UI transitions is a plus.
• Experience making pixel art icons.

Responsibilities

• Design icons, buttons, and UI elements that are clear and easy to read at a glance.
• Build and maintain a consistent visual language across interface elements.
• Create assets at multiple sizes and resolutions, ready for in-game use.
• Work closely with designers and developers to fit the UI to the game's style and flow.
• Iterate on feedback to keep the interface clean and intuitive.
