Job summary

Hong Kong Economic Times seeks a Video Content Creator for AI Projects in Hong Kong to bridge traditional video editing with generative AI workflows for local social channels and our mobile app.

You will translate concepts into storyboards, generate assets with AI, and refine AI components into commercial-grade videos, while shaping prompts and maintaining an internal AI library.

Qualifications

• Hands-on proficiency with generative AI tools across text, image, video and audio workflows.
• Exceptional prompt engineering capabilities.
• Proficiency in traditional video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve).

Responsibilities

• Translate written fun-fact concepts into structured visual storyboards and engaging short-form video scripts.
• Generate core visual, audio, and motion assets using generative AI tools.
• Refine and edit raw AI components into polished and commercial-grade videos.
• Apply creative direction, pacing, and visual aesthetics to ensure final videos delivered across social channels and our mobile app feel natural, high-retention, and on-brand.
• Draft, test, and optimize prompt structures, building and maintaining an internal "Prompt Library" and AI video SOPs to streamline production workflows.
• Continuously research and integrate newly released global AI tools to upgrade team operations and scale output.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Video Content Creator for AI Projects based in Hong Kong to join U Lifestyle. In this role, you will bridge traditional video editing with generative AI workflows to produce high engaging video content for local social channels and mobile apps.

A typical day in this role:

• Translate written fun-fact concepts into structured visual storyboards and engaging short-form video scripts.
• Generate core visual, audio, and motion assets using generative AI tools.
• With video editing tools, refine and edit raw AI components into polished and commercial-grade videos.
• Apply creative direction, pacing, and visual aesthetics to ensure final videos delivered across social channels and our mobile app feel natural, high-retention, and on-brand.
• Draft, test, and optimize prompt structures, building and maintaining an internal "Prompt Library" and AI video SOPs to streamline production workflows.
• Continuously research and integrate newly released global AI tools (advanced video generators, voice synthesis, automated editors) to upgrade team operations and scale output.

About you:

• Higher Diploma or above in New Media, Communications, Film, Design, or related fields (high-potential fresh graduates with strong AI portfolios are welcomed)
• Proven hands-on proficiency in operating mainstream generative AI tools across text, image, video, and audio workflows (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Runway, Luma, ElevenLabs).
• Exceptional prompt engineering capabilities are essential.
• Proficiency in traditional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve)
• Strong visual sense, sharp narrative judgment, and knows what's currently trending in Hong Kong lifestyle and entertainment.
• Highly self-driven with a strong desire to proactively discover, test, and master emerging video AI tech.
• Fluent in spoken Cantonese and written Chinese; working proficiency in English.
