Job summary

Keystone Education Limited in Southern District, HK seeks a Part-Time Personal Tutor/Coach for university admissions. You will deliver tailored one-on-one sessions for aptitude tests, English tests, and entrance exams, assess progress, and craft learning plans to help students succeed in admissions processes.

You will prepare students for tests and interviews, monitor progress, and advise on university choices and personal statements.

Qualifications

• Degree or current enrollment in a relevant field (Medicine, Law, Engineering, English, or related disciplines).
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one admissions test or English proficiency (e.g., UCAT, ISAT, LNAT, ESAT, TOEFL, IELTS, ISEB, ATOM, UKISET).
• Prior tutoring/teaching experience, preferably in university admissions preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate diverse students.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple students and schedules.
• Ability to work independently and adapt teaching methods to individual needs.
• Familiarity with online learning platforms and remote teaching tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to aptitude and entrance tests, English tests, and public exams.
• Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement; develop individualized learning plans.
• Prepare students for admissions tests, interviews, and application processes; teach test-taking techniques.
• Monitor and report student progress; provide regular feedback and adjust teaching methods.
• Advise students on university and course selection, timelines, and personal statement writing.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding progress and recommendations for support.
• Stay updated on admissions requirements and test formats for relevant universities and programs.
• Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and outcomes.
