Job summary

The Specialists Health Check and Diagnostic Imaging Centre in Hong Kong is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to perform ultrasound, X-ray and mammography examinations according to professional standards. You will optimize image quality, prepare preliminary reports and share observations with radiologists to support interpretation.

Requirements include ARDMS or equivalent, HK Radiographers Board registration with Practising Certificate, 1–2 years post-qualification ultrasound experience,

Job Description:

• Performs medical ultrasound ; X-ray and Mammography examinations according to professional standards and best practice guidelines;
• Optimize image quality through proper probe selection, gain settings, and patient positioning;
• Prepares preliminary diagnostic ultrasound reports;
• Share preliminary observations with doctor/radiologists and support image interpretation;
• Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Preferred international credentials include the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent;
• Holder of Certificate of Registration (Part II) and Practicing Certificate issued by the Radiographers Board of Hong Kong;
• At least 1-2 years of post-qualification hands-on ultrasound experience in a hospital or clinic;
• Good personal integrity, hardworking, responsible and trustworthy;
• Good team player, with good interpersonal and leadership skills;
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese;
• Fixed rest days on Sundays and public holidays, NO night-shift is required.
