Job summary

Societe Generale is seeking a trainee in its Greater China Credit Sales Team in Hong Kong to support institutional clients and assist on daily trading flows and trade bookings. You will help reconcile trades across desks and coordinate after-sales services, including settlement and valuations publications.

The role includes KYC onboarding tasks and periodic reviews, under a fixed-term 24-month contract. The ideal candidate holds a Finance/Economics degree, works well in teams, and demonstrates

• Able to work in a team and under pressure.
• Fluent English and Mandarin required.
• Pro-active and rigorous with good organizational skills.

• Assist sales on KYC affairs, including onboarding, periodic KYC review, reverse KYC and subaccount onboarding requests.

Profile Requirements:

• Hold a relevant Bachelors or Master's degree in Finance, Economics or similar
• Demonstrate the capacity to work in a team environment, on collective success
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Pro-active, rigorous, able to multitask and work under pressure
• Fluent English and Mandarin are mandatory

This is a fixed term 24-month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full-time basis.

HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) certification is preferred
