Job summary

Delken Group Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Temporary Data Engineer for its Digitalisation Office. You will build distributed data pipelines that process massive data in batch and near real-time, enabling searching, visualization, and advanced analytics.

We require a university degree in CS/IS/Data Science or related fields, at least three years in data pipeline development or event-driven architecture, and strong communication in an international team. Experience with data security is a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in CS/IS/Data Science or related fields.
• At least three years in data pipeline development / event-driven architecture.
• Data driven thinking capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and experience in an international team.
• Solid grounding in Financial Service.
• Experience with data processing in large-scale enterprise environments is highly desired.
• Experience of implementing data security capabilities such as encryption, anonymization is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Build distributed and highly parallelised data processing pipelines for massive data in batch and near real-time.
• Enrich and transform corporate data to enable searching, visualization, and analytics under a Continuous delivery model.
• Work with data scientists and business stakeholders to develop analytics models.
• Automate processes where possible to be repeatable and reliable.
• Collaborate with Architects, Platform Engineers and Product Management to deliver software in a CD environment.
