Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking a skilled IT professional to lead requirements analysis and full-cycle development for the Address Search revamp and platform enhancements. You will design, implement, and maintain APIs and web services, ensuring performance and reliability across public and internal interfaces.

The role requires strong experience in Java, Linux administration, and SQL, plus hands-on web development and system design.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent.
• 4+ years’ experience in IT industry.
• At least 3 years’ experience in: Java programming, Linux system administration, system implementation and maintenance, SQL.
• At least 2 years’ experience in web application development, web services, web application server and system analysis and design.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements analysis and full-cycle system development for the Address Search revamp and Platform enhancements, including architecture design, development, testing, and UAT coordination.
• Design and implement system improvements to optimize both functionality and performance.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for public-facing and internal API applications, covering the API gateway, web applications, and related API services.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external and internal user enquiries regarding API applications and the Platform.
• Manage operational tasks for both public and internal interfaces, including data consolidation, theme page updates, and new user onboarding.
• Drive service quality improvements through the system design and development of key software modules.
• Ensure production stability through proactive troubleshooting, system monitoring, rollout management, and post-deployment nursing.
• Provide on-call support outside standard hours for urgent incidents and critical program deployments.
