Job summary

Principle Partners Pte Ltd is seeking a quantitative trader to join its APAC Central trading team. You will work with traders and technologists to manage live risk, refine execution, and contribute to the firm's systematic trading platform.

The role requires hands-on coding in Python and/or C++, a strong mathematical background, and experience in equity/futures/options markets. You will analyze trades, optimize strategies, and collaborate across research and tech teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative discipline from a top institution.
• At least 3+ years trading experience in Equity/Futures/Options, preferably systematic.
• Strong coding ability in Python, C++, or similar.
• Familiarity with automated trading platforms and electronic markets.
• Excellent problem solving and decision making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of systematic trading platform with researchers and tech teams.
• Monitor risk across multi-instrument books with trading authority.
• Contribute to design and refinement of automated execution to reduce costs and slippage.
• Analyze trade outcomes, including P&L attribution and execution quality.
• Track strategy performance and market microstructure to inform parameter adjustments.
• Collaborate with research and technology teams on new trading opportunities.
