Job summary

A leading consulting firm seeks a System Specialist (Cloud) to provide overall support and maintenance for servers and security controls. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science and at least 4 years of IT experience, particularly in cloud infrastructure projects using VMware vSphere. Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is essential. This role is critical in defining and maintaining a robust multi-cloud architecture.

Qualifications

• Degree holder or above in Computer Science, Information System or related disciplines.
• Minimum 4 years of IT work experience.
• Experience in cloud or virtualization projects using VMware vSphere.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall support and maintenance of the various tiers of server, storage, applications and security control
• Define, design, evaluate and maintain the architecture including on-premises & multi cloud environments

Qualifications

• Degree holder or above in Computer Science, Information System or related disciplines
• Minimum 4 years of IT work experienced
• Experience in implementation of cloud or virtualization infrastructure project(s) using VMware vSphere
• Experience in system programming on IT infrastructures for e-services adopting Java EE (or J2EE) architecture on different Server Platform
• Familiar with cloud platform is highly preferred
• Candidates with project experience for government is an advantage
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin
