Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Post-Trade IT Analyst to manage third-party post-trade platform vendors and ensure SLA adherence. You will coordinate vendor delivery, testing, and post-implementation reviews within a hybrid SaaS/on-prem environment.

You will translate business requirements into technical specs, oversee release schedules, and coordinate SIT/UAT with partners, ensuring robust platform governance and incident resolution pathways.

Qualifications

  • Degree in IT/Computer Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years in post-trade system analysis or application support with external vendors.
  • Proven vendor governance and release management experience.
  • Strong post-trade knowledge: trade matching, settlement, reconciliations, custody operations.
  • Experience with hybrid on-premise and SaaS deployments.
  • Knowledge of interface protocols, API integration, middleware, SWIFT ISO 15022 and ISO 20022.
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux, Oracle, scripting, SFTP, and MQ.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

  • Direct vendor teams through the configuration, deployment, testing, and post-implementation reviews.

  • Direct vendor teams through the configuration, deployment, testing, and post-implementation reviews of vendor platforms.
  • Translate business and operational requirements into functional specifications for vendor technical delivery.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for system incidents, executing initial triage before enforcing L2/L3 vendor resolution timelines.
  • Oversee vendor release schedules, SaaS configuration changes, and system updates to minimize operational exposure.
  • Assess interface architectures, data structures, and connectivity between external platforms and in-house systems.
  • Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production verification alongside vendor partners.

  • Strong technical background in post-trade processes, including trade matching, clearing, settlement, reconciliations, corporate actions, and custody operations.
  • Experience with hybrid deployment architectures combining on-premise systems and SaaS platforms.
  • Working knowledge of interface protocols, API integration, middleware, SWIFT ISO 15022 (MT), and ISO 20022 (MX) messaging standards.
  • Practical familiarity with Unix/Linux, Oracle, scripting tools, file-transfer protocols (SFTP), and MQ server setups.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive technical alignment with external vendor leadership.
