Job summary

JETCO Information Technology department seeks a seasoned Analyst Programmer to maintain and enhance large-scale application systems. You will work on ATM-related open systems, develop new features, fix bugs, and upgrade components while ensuring compliance with SDLC guidelines.

A strong Java/Spring background and experience with Linux, MySQL/MariaDB, and Jira are essential, with a collaborative, quality-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6–7 years IT experience in system analysis, development and testing of large-scale application systems.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, MariaDB, and Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with Tomcat server, MySQL, Jira, or test automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for ATM-related open systems, including new features, bug fixes, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot issues and respond to internal and external users’ queries; escalate when needed.
• Prepare documentation for new services or system enhancements.
• Develop and execute unit test cases.
• Create User Guides and Operations Manuals when required.
• Serve as first-line technical support for application systems.
• Regularly report task status and issues to the supervisor.
• Follow defined software development guidelines and standards.
• Take on other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support ATM related open systems, including new feature development, bug fix, system component version upgrades, code scan issue fix, vulnerability fix
• Troubleshoot issues and answer internal and external users’ application queries; and elevate to superior whenever needed
• Prepare required documentation for new service or system enhancement
• Prepare and preform the test cases for unit test
• Prepare User Guide and Operation Manual if needed
• Act as the first line technical support for application systems
• Report the Status or Issues of the tasks assigned on regularly basis to the Superior
• Follow all the defined Software Development Guidelines | Standards | Procedures
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess a bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 6 – 7 years of IT experience in system analysis, development and testing of large-scaled application system(s)
• Demonstrated ability and programming experience in Java, Spring Boot Framework, Spring Framework, MariaDB, Linux commands and Linux batch scripts
• Hands-on experience in one or more is a plus:
  Tomcat server, MySQL, Jira, test automation tools
• Fast learner with passion on new technologies and self-motivated
• Good analytical skill and a good team player
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Analyst Programmer
