Job summary

Nex Playground is seeking a proactive Project Management Intern for its Content Operations team in Hong Kong. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering content projects, gaining hands-on exposure to localization workflows and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, product-driven gaming company. This internship runs June 1, 2027 to August 31, 2027, with flexible hours and a competitive compensation

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Majors: Computer Science, Game Design and Development, Business, Project Management, or related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to multitask.
• High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with project management tools and workflows is an advantage.
• A passion for game development, digital content, and emerging technologies.
• Previous internship or academic project involving project coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and delivery of content projects.
• Track timelines, milestones, deliverables, and action items.
• Facilitate clear communication between stakeholders and team members.
• Maintain project documentation, trackers, notes, and progress reports.
• Coordinate localization workflows across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with external developers, vendors, and freelancers.
• Identify risks, dependencies, blockers and escalate as needed.
• Contribute to improvements in internal PM processes and workflows.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks requested by Content team.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Management Intern to join our Content Operations team. This internship is ideal for someone who is organized, adaptable, and eager to gain hands-on experience coordinating game development projects. As a Project Management Intern - Content Operations, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of content projects. You will assist the team with day-to-day project coordination while gaining practical experience in project management, localization, and content operations workflows.

What You Will Do

• Support the planning, execution, and delivery of content projects by tracking timelines, milestones, deliverables, and action items.
• Support coordination across cross-functional teams and help facilitate clear communication between stakeholders and team members.
• Assist with creating and maintaining project documentation, trackers, meeting notes, and progress reports.
• Assist with coordinating localization workflows across multiple projects.
• Support collaboration with external developers, vendors, and freelancers on outsourced projects.
• Help identify project risks, dependencies, or blockers and escalation them to the relevant team members.
• Support research and contribute to improvements in internal project management processes and workflows.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks requested by Content team members.

Should Have

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Desired Majors: Computer Science, Game Design and Development, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with project management tools and workflows is an advantage.
• A passion for game development, digital content, and emerging technologies.
• Previous internship, academic project, or extracurricular experience involving project coordination is a plus.
