Job summary

AIA Hong Kong is seeking a senior leader to support Strategy & Transformation, including the CEO Office. You will drive strategy development, governance, and cross-functional execution to deliver customer-centric outcomes and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.

The role requires strategic thinking, senior stakeholder management, and a track record in financial services/insurance. You will partner across teams to turn insights into impactful initiatives and robust executive reporting.

Qualifications

  • University degree in business, finance, communications or related discipline.
  • Around 10 years of relevant experience in financial services and insurance industry, specifically in CEO Office, corporate planning or executive office roles.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business acumen, with ability to understand broad enterprise issues and priorities, business performance and senior management decision needed.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex cross-functional work and manage senior stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong writing, synthesis and communication skills, with ability to prepare clear executive-level materials.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative, adaptable and able to build trusted working relationships across levels and functions.
  • Knowledge of life and health insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver insights and thought leadership on market developments and implications for AIAHK.
  • Work collaboratively with different functions to identify and shape potential new growth engines and strategic opportunities beyond AIAHK’s existing core business.
  • Analyse and evaluate strategic opportunities / partnerships. Work with relevant stakeholders to co-create go-to-market business strategies.
  • Assist the development of strategic and financial case for new strategic initiatives.
  • Support the development of the annual strategic plans for AIAHK.
  • Support day-to-day management and co-ordination of CEO Office priorities, ensuring clear linkage between CEO direction, management forum discussions, agreed actions and execution follow-through.
  • Manage the planning, agenda design and follow-up process for key management forums, including ExCo, CSRM, MBR / QBR and other CEO Office-led meetings.
  • Support Transformation Office and Transformation Partner leads on establishing and leading enterprise-wide transformation governance and execution, ensuring alignment between strategic priorities and execution.
  • Develop structured performance tracking, executive reporting, and cross-functional delivery to enable timely, data-driven decision-making at ExCo level and successful delivery of transformation outcomes.

About the Role

Support the effective operation of the Strategy & Transformation Team, including the CEO Office, by supporting strategy development, transformation implementation, tracking and cross-functional follow-through across AIA Hong Kong & Macau.

This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.
