Job summary

Emerton Data, the data analytics arm of Emerton Group, seeks a dual-track Strategy Associate Consultant and Data Scientist in Hong Kong. You will contribute to data & AI strategy projects, develop data-driven use cases, and deliver advanced analytics across energy, consumer, and financial sectors.

Collaboration with partners will guide you through interviews, market analysis, data collation, and model deployment.

Qualifications

• MSc degree in engineering, CS, ML, statistics or math.
• Programming in Python and SQL required.
• Experience applying data science to business problems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze facts and translate them into meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Conduct interviews and market analysis.
• Identify, scope, and prioritize use cases.
• Collect and process data using scraping technologies.
• Prepare structured and unstructured data.
• Select and implement suitable ML models and optimizations.
• Derive insights and communicate them effectively.
• Develop code adhering to industrial-strength standards.
• Create meaningful data products and visualizations.
