Job summary

Hong Kong Acamar Corporation Limited invites a motivated data science/ML engineer to develop new algorithms, improve data pre- and post-processing, and contribute to model deployment and configuration.

You will perform model construction, fine-tuning, evaluation and testing with industry data, collaborate with the product team to identify customer needs, and prepare technical specifications. On-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• Strong mathematics and algorithm foundations.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch; knowledge of C/C++ is a plus.
• Good command of English, Chinese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Develop new algorithms and methodologies for data pre- and post-processing.
• Build and evaluate machine learning models; deploy and configure models.
• Perform model construction, fine-tuning, and performance testing with industry data.
• Collaborate with product team to understand customer needs and translate to specs.

Job description

• Prepare technical documents and specifications of products
• Assist in R&D project’s planning and management
• On-the-job training will be provided

Requirements

• Master or Bachelor degree from any universities in Faculty of Engineering who studied in Computer Science or any computer related discipline are welcome
• Good mathematics and algorithm foundation are highly preferred
• Knowledge of C/C++/Python/Pytorch is an advantage
• Good understanding of general CPU/GPU
• Good command of written and spoken of English, Chinese and Mandarin
• Proactive, passionate, fast learner and willing to take challenges
